What brought you to The Ridge?

I had turned my back on God at the age of 18 due to a series of unfortunate events that left me very angry and believing that the only one I could count on was me. The Lord allowed my disobedience for about 15 years when He had had enough. The result was a very repentant child who was welcomed back into her Father’s arms, forgiven. The day I walked into the gym at Prairie Ridge I knew it was the church. The Holy Spirit made every hair on my body stand on end. God was clearly hanging out here. I had found my new home.

How has God used The Ridge to impact your life?

Ann Griffin took me under her wing and to this day is still my spiritual mamma. I don’t know what I would do without her. She has walked with me through every heart break I have had over the last 15 years and pointed up. I had been taught and encouraged and now I teach and I encourage. I have been teaching bible studies and loving on women at the Ridge for many years now and it is my purpose in life. I love serving Him in this way.

I have also been blessed with some of the best girlfriends anyone could have. Having people you can just text and ask them to pray for you or meet for coffee has been something I have really never had.
