Our Mission in Ghana
The Ridge provides financial support and service-based mission trips to Ghana in partnership with Royal Promise, which offers orphan care, medical aid and a religious-based education to families in Ghana.
Sponsors Rob and Ronda Wheeler lead periodic mission trips during which participants form relationships with the Ghanaians and contribute to the work of Royal Promise. The goal is to expand each participant’s understanding of Gospel concepts such as loving “one another” and serving our “neighbors” beyond the local church and even national boundaries. Past participants say they have been blessed to experience life in a different culture and to interact with God in a distinctly non-American way.
