Impacting Our Community

The Ridge is positioned in a local community struggling with anxiety, depression, division and isolation as well as a global community rife with poverty, exploitation and abuse. This project will allow us to better serve these communities — meeting their basic needs while also pointing them to the ultimate source of healing, hope and peace, Jesus Christ.

A soundproof audio and video recording studio will enhance our production capabilities for Ridge podcast and video content without disturbing the work of other Ridge staffers.  

Storage space is always at a premium for initiatives like the SMMO Boutique and Christmas Blessings. A new elevator will allow us to use the vacated basement as year-round storage for these ministries. 

By moving ministries out of The Square and basement, we’ll be able to open up these spaces to community partners such as Special Olympics Iowa, FUSE, Single Parent Provision and more. 

New living room-style spaces can be used by Christian therapists and financial advisors to meet with clients. When not used for these purposes, rooms will be available to the congregation.
